Therapist
She/Her
Hi, I'm Lior!
I enjoy spending time with my dogs, being in nature, photography, and fiber arts. I am a moon lover and sunset chaser. My favorite way to practice self-care and mindfulness is by watching a sunset followed by the moon rising.
Lior is a passionate and dedicated therapist who strives to create a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where her clients can feel heard.
She has experience treating eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and other co-occurring disorders. She has experience working in two of the nation's top eating disorder treatment facilities and has volunteered her time with the NEDA Helpline. Lior obtained her Masters in Mental Health Counseling from the Gordon F. Derner School of Psychology at Adelphi University and completed her Clinical Internship at The Renfrew Center.
Her treatment approach is Health At Every Size (HAES) aligned, trauma-informed and social justice oriented. She believes in collaboration, transparency, and authenticity, and brings her full humanity to each therapeutic relationship. Lior identifies as queer and is passionate about working with folks in the LGBTQIA+ community. She dedicates herself to creating a safe and inclusive space where healing and change can occur.
